Madano News - Aide to Governments Chief Scientific Adviser to join Madano

Business communications consultancy, Madano Partnership, has appointed Michael Evans, currently Private Secretary to HM Government's Chief Scientific Adviser, Sir David King as a Partner. 
 
Evans will join Madano early in 2008 with a mandate to support the consultancy's strategic growth plans in two areas: Energy & Environment and Building & Infrastructure. 
 
During his five years working with Sir David King, Michael Evans has provided support and advice on a range of major scientific issues, from climate change and energy policy to obesity and foot and mouth.

Michael Evans Biographical Notes:
 
Michael Evans has more than nine years experience working in government. Most recently he was Private Secretary to the Government’s Chief Scientific Adviser. Prior to this he was involved in a number of areas in the energy industry including working on corporate restructuring, the development of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority and liabilities management. Michael was also involved in both the 2003 and 2007 Energy White Paper and worked on the UK’s G8 Presidency in 2005.
