Madano News - Senior public affairs expert to join Madano

Business communications consultancy, Madano Partnership, has appointed Tim Carr, currently Chief Operating Director at public affairs firm, The Waterfront Partnership, as a Partner.  Carr will join Madano early in 2008 tasked with developing a public affairs arm of the business to work alongside its Corporate Communications, Financial Communications, and Marketing Communications practices.
 
During his public affairs career, Carr has worked with a wide range of clients in both the corporate and public sector, including energy, oil, nuclear, water, transport, aerospace and defence, alcohol, tobacco, banking, postal, IT & communications and retail.

Tim Carr Biographical Notes:
 
Tim Carr has nearly 17 years experience of working within the public affairs industry.  He started in public affairs in 1991 for The Russell Partnership - an independent government relations’ agency.  Following its purchase by Chime Communications, he spent eight years at Bell Pottinger Public Affairs, departing as a Director.  Tim joined The Waterfront Partnership in August 2005, where he was responsible for direction of the business and the development of the company’s client services and capabilities.  He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
