Background

Aquascot is a salmon farm producer exclusively to Waitrose Foods. Based in Alness in the Highlands of Scotland they are passionate about quality food that is sustainably produced.

Brief

In order to ensure their business plan was aligned to Waitrose they decided to employ a communications consultancy to help mitigate and manage communications around any potential repuational or operational issues the company may face. The role for Madano was very much around preparing Aquascot for what could happen and how best to deal with it should it happen.

Clear Thinking

The challenge to date has been ensuring Aquascot is continually prepared and tested in anticipation of any type of crisis. Working closely with the Aquascot team we have been able to ensure all the correct resources, training and infrastructure are in place so that Aquascot is as prepared as they can be for any eventuality. Madano has also carried out live crisis management exercises remotely and on site which were prepared in order to test every aspect of the company’s business continuity plan.
